Mondays come too fast...

Good Monday Morning!
We are having a lazy day this morning.
Laying around and watching tv

We had a nice weekend.
My parents came home from canada
they brought fresh fish and cooked it for us yesterday
DELICIOUS!

My cousin is coming from Toledo this week to visit.
the kids can play together.
They love that!

Next week I get to baby sit my little cousin.
That will give my son someone to play with all week.
Monday though, I have a doc appt for the baby.
I sure hope things are still going well in there ;)

Good Morning Everyone!
Yesterday was exhausting.
First we went for a bike ride.
The first part was okay,
Then we blew up the tire on the child trailer,
So my husband and I rode as fast as we could,
back to the truck and van,
while my grandparents watched my son.
we got the cars and picked them up
at mcdonalds, where we ate for breakfast!

Then we went home for nap.

After nap, we went swimming!
My parents are in Canada
so we took over their house and pool.
The poor guy who is house sitting
had to see us all evening
but he got free food!
We cooked out on the grill
potatoes, chicken, burgers,
we had salad
my son had lima beans (yuck!)
and we had cantelope and watermelon.
The pool was 88 degrees, PERFECT!

I hurt my back when we arrived to swim just by getting something out of the van :(
I am still sore today.
I hope I feel better soon.

Fun Day!
The day included:
1. trip to Hueston Woods
2. Fishing

When we got to Hueston Woods we just went to see the deer and the other animals that they have there. It is nice because it doesn't cost anything except for gas money. My son loved it. He even got to pet the deer!

We packed out lunches, ate on the way and had a super time!

When we returned home, we stopped at Wally World to get a fishing pole. A cars fishing pole to be exact.

My son took his nap when we returned home. When he awoke, we went fishing at my grandpa's house. He caught a few tiny bluegill. My son must take after me because he was asking to touch the worms, even eat them, but would not get close to the fish. So funny! His poor dad had to take all the fish off of our lines and didn't get to fish too much. bugs were horrible, but we survived, no mosquitos, thank goodness!

Welp, just sitting around tonight being lazy and watching television! Have a super day!

Welcome to our life

This blog is just a time-filler for me. As I sit and listen to my son talk to himself while trying to sleep, I will write my thoughts, feelings and experiences. I am married to my wonderful husband, and we have one son and another child on the way. We are due on Valentine's Day, so this next child must be loved dearly!

I have begun my masters degree online. So far it seems to be going fairly well, but I am yet to receive my first graded paper or assignment. So ask me again next week after I get my grades if I am still enjoying it. It
is difficult getting back into the swing of things, writing papers, reading and using this APA style writing but I am doing my best. Hopefully my best is enough for the professor! We are still searching for a house. We are renting at the time being but we are always on the lookout for a great deal on a house we love. No luck yet. We have put in bids - they are either too late or not high enough. Imagine that. My son turned 2 recently. How exciting!! He is talking and talking and talking!! I don't think he ever stops. It is okay though, I know that he is doing well because the doctor doesn't have anything to say about what he needs to be working on or doing because he has usually accomplished the tasks for his age. I hope my next child is this easy to take care of, I doubt it!

I work at a school so right now, I am on summer break. I love it! I am doing my best to stay out of all the junk food though. I try not to purchase anything that is bad for me. I am doing okay. I suppose. I am also trying to go swimming and enjoy the sun as much as possible. There will be no tanning when winter arrives, this is what pregnancy does to you. Deprives you of good things like that.

Check back and see what is going on in my life later. At this moment, I am going to go visit my addiction: Facebook!
