Good Afternoon Everyone!

I am getting completely excited for the upcoming Great Darke County Fair! If you have never been, you should check it out. It is one of the largest county fairs in the world and there is always something exciting going on. On Sunday, we are going to see Lady Antebellum with special guest Justin Moore perform there. Tickets sold out sooooo quickly; 2 hours and they were gone :/
So we feel very lucky to have some.

First of all, the cheerleading competition is friday at 11am. I am so excited. I am sad though as well because I have been coaching for the past 4 years and this is the first year I have given it up. I had a full load on my plate, so coaching was the thing I had to drop from my schedule. But you better believe I will be cheering on my tiger cheerleaders. I haven't been completely left out of the loop because I have been helping my home high school with the competition routine. I usually help the tumblers. I have an extensive background with tumbling and spotting and coaching, so it helps! I am going up with them to the competition, so I will probably still be busy and will feel like I am part of a squad at least :)

I am excited to take my son up on Saturday to see some of my family who is coming down from Toledo. We will probably let them look at the animals and ride the ponies.

I am so excited to eat some fair food. I have been walking a mile each day on my treadmill, so I think it will be okay for me to indulge in some fatty, fair food :) I plan on getting some breadsticks, philly steak and cheese sandwich, strawberry-lemonade shakeup, fiske fries, and a funnel cake, I will probably have much more, but those are at the top of my list of things to eat while I can!

My pregnancy is going well. I have another appointment on Monday. I love to hear the baby's heartbeat! It seems like it is going so slow, but once I get back to work after fair, then I am sure it will go fast. I am 14 weeks and 2 days today. At least I am in the 2nd trimester.

The family issues I mentioned in the last post, have subsided, but I have not had the chance to voice my opinion any further. I just figure that when you talk to a brick wall, it does not respond, so I am wasting my time and energy on someone useless. I know things will never be the same but when you bottle up feelings and you have a chance to release them, it feels so good! I just wish people would take full responsibility for their actions and have a valid reason behind them or just say sorry when they are just wrong. Oh well, you cannot change others, but you can decide yourself how you would react in similar situations and can learn from other people's mistakes.

I hope to see lots of you out and about at the Darke County Fair this week and enjoy some fair food and fun!
